Collett Street Recreation Area
With over twenty acres of green space, this park combines recreation with education. With eight lighted tennis courts, three soccer fields and two fenced-in ball diamonds, there is plenty of space to play and learn a new sport. With access to the Ottawa River Bikeway, visitors have the opportunity to walk, bike, skate and jog over miles of networked paved paths which connect numerous park areas.
Collett Street Recreation Area also shares land with Safety City, a community outreach program providing our youth with safety know-how. Located within the 800 block of South Collett Street, the Collett Street Recreation Area is one of three connected parks where passive recreation is paramount and the area provides something for everyone.
