Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) now has a kiosk at the Lima-Allen County Neighborhoods in Partnership building located at 1440 W. Spring St. The laptop and scanner allow NACA members working to complete the homebuyer qualification process the opportunity to upload their supporting documents. The kiosk is available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, from noon to 3 PM.
Over 250 households started the path towards homeownership by attending Lima’s NACA Homebuyer Events in April and June 2023. Another workshop is being held on Saturday, September 9th from 9 AM to 1 PM at the LACNIP building at 1440 W. Spring St. Preregistration is available through NACA’s website and walk-ins are also welcome.
NACA, the nation’s largest HUD approved, non-profit homeownership and advocacy organization, offers a mortgage program featuring no down-payment, no closing costs, no fees, no mortgage insurance, and a below market fixed interest rate with credit score ratings not factoring into the approval process.
“We are committed to aiding our residents on the path to homeownership. We encourage all of those who attended previous NACA Homebuyer Workshops to continue working towards the day when you are handed the keys to your new home. Homeownership is attainable, and we want to do everything we can to remove the barriers around the American dream,” states Carmillia Zion, Deputy Director for the City of Lima’s Department of Housing and Neighborhoods.
