On Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, Mayor Sharetta Smith will kick off her weekly visits to Lima neighborhoods. Walking-the-Wards is a program initiated in 2022 that serves as an opportunity to connect with community members and survey each neighborhood for city service related issues. Residents in the respective neighborhoods are encouraged to attend and take the opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns. Ward 7b will be the first area targeted, which encompasses the region south of the railroad tracks between Woodward and Crestwood Avenue. The walk will start at noon at Lima Lumber Brick and Block, located at 1101 Delphos Ave., Lima OH 45805.
