[ARCHIVED] Wayne Street Traffic Pattern Change

Traffic-Pattern-Change.

Today (8/17) the contractor is laying out pavement markings and installing signage.   Signage that conflicts with the current one-way traffic pattern will be bagged until Wednesday (8/19).   Pavement markings will be permanently placed beginning Wednesday (8/19) morning and will take most of the day and possibly part of Thursday (8/20) to complete.   The city’s sign crew will be removing covers on previously installed  “NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN AHEAD” signage beginning Tuesday (8/18) morning and signs will remain in place for several months.  The motoring public should use caution while the conversion of one-way to two-way traffic is taking place on Wayne St.

Sincerely,

Kirk Niemeyer

City Engineer
