[ARCHIVED] Lima Police Department - 4 new Officers and a new Communications Operator

Jason Rhodes: graduated from Bluffton High School. He is attended Rhodes State College studying law enforcement. He was employed with the Bluffton Police Department for four and a half years before his employment with LPD.

Bryce Garman: graduated from St. Henry High School. He received an Associate of Technical Study from Wright State University. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps from July 31, 2006 to July 30, 2010. He was employed with the Rockford Police Department and the Auglaize County Sheriff’s office before his employment with LPD.

Matthew Boss: graduated from Ottawa Glandorf High School. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Wright State University and received his Ohio Peace Officer basic training from Rhodes State Police Academy. Before joining the LPD, he was employed with the Ottawa PD for 2 years, Ft. Shawnee PD for 1 year and Delphos PD for 6 months.

Cory Noftz: graduated from Delphos Jefferson High School. He received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Findlay. He was employed with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office for 3 ½ years and the Allen County Sheriff’s Office for 1 ½ years as a corrections officer.

On April 12, 2012, Marion Moening was appointed as a communication operator with LPD. She graduated from Allen East High School in 1988 and received an Associate’s Degree in Medial Assisting at Rhodes State College. Before her employment with the Lima Police Department, she was a medical assistant at MediLab.
