Police Dogs

The Lima Police Department Canine Unit has four (4) teams. Each consists of the handler and his K-9 partner. Each K-9 is trained in patrol work, suspect tracking, and narcotic detection. The K-9 teams assist local and surrounding law enforcement agencies when they are requested. They are also available for public demonstrations.
